Preventive Dentistry for Kids

Caring of the mouth should start early. Baby teeth begin to appear around 6 months and last until a child is 13 or 14.

Brush your child’s teeth with soft tooth brush as soon as first tooth appears, because without proper care and attention children can suffer from cavities (dental decay) which can lead to infection and tooth loss.

During the visit to our office dentist will:

  • Examine mouth, teeth and gums.
  • Tell parents how to brush children’s teeth and gums.
  • Evaluate any habits like thumb sucking.

Through regular examination your dentist will monitor the development of your child’s teeth and gums to catch problems early and prevent disease.

CHILDREN LEARN BY EXAMPLE. IF YOU LOOK AFTER YOUR TEETH AND GUMS, YOUR CHILDREN WILL TOO.
